Translate testimonials automatically for visitors
Show each visitor your testimonials in their own language — on your Wall of Love and in every widget. Pro, opt-in, billed per review translated.
2 MIN READ
Auto-translate shows testimonial text in each visitor's own language, detected automatically from their browser. It applies everywhere your testimonials are shown publicly — your Wall of Love and every embedded widget — from one workspace-wide setting.
Turn it on
- Open Workspace settings → General.
- Find Auto-translate reviews and switch it on, then Save.
- Available on Pro; on a lower plan you will see an upgrade prompt instead of the switch.
It is off by default and has to be turned on deliberately — translation is billed per review translated, so this is a cost you opt into rather than discover. One switch covers both your Wall of Love and every widget; there is nothing to turn on separately per widget.
What it actually translates
Just the testimonial text — the headline and body. Everything else (star ratings, names, photos, video) stays as it is.
The original, on your Wall
A translated Wall of Love page has a plain "Show original" link, so a visitor who would rather read exactly what the customer wrote can always switch back. Widgets do not currently have an equivalent link — they show the translated text with no visitor-facing way to see the original inline; visiting your Wall of Love is the way around that today.
How it decides the language
From the visitor's browser, automatically — there is nothing for them to pick, and nothing for you to configure per visitor or per widget. The first visitor viewing a given testimonial in a language nobody has requested yet may briefly see the original while a translation generates in the background; every visitor after that in the same language sees the translated version straight away.
